Parking Information

Visitors may park at meters located in most parking areas, in the Student Center visitor lot, or by obtaining a $2, "one-day" permit from Parking Services. Rates are posted at each meter and at the Student Center lot.
Also, the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication offers "one-day" permits to visitors. The nearest parking lot to Franklin Hall is the R-1 lot, next to Rockwell Hall. Visitors should inquire about "one-day" permits by contacting the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Directions to Franklin Hall

Directions From the North:

• I-71 or I-77 or I-271 to I-480 east
• I-480 becomes St. Rt.14
• Stay on St. Rt. 14 into Streetsboro (Interstate map).
• Take St. Rt. 43 south from Streetsboro to Kent (5 miles).
• Stay on Rt. 43 to St. Rt. 59 (Haymaker Parkway).
• Turn left onto St. Rt. 59.
• Turn right onto South Lincoln Street.
• Turn left onto Hilltop Drive.
• Franklin Hall is the first building on the right.

Directions From the South:

• I-71 or I-77 to I-76 east (Interstate map) to St. Rt. 43 north (exit 33)
• Stay on St. Rt. 43 (Water Street in Kent) to St. Rt. 59 (Haymaker Parkway).
• Turn right onto St. Rt. 59.
• Turn right onto South Lincoln Street.
• Turn left onto Hilltop Drive.
• Franklin Hall is the first building on the right.

I-76 to St. Rt. 43 north (exit 33)
