Photo illustration majors prepare for careers in studio and/or commercial photography. The photography of objects illuminated in the studio, including the illustration of concepts and ideas, forms the core of instruction. Graduates usually secure positions in such fields as studio, fashion, architectural, medical or corporate photography.
