| Newspaper journalism students
train in writing, editing and design of newspapers. Students
work at the Daily Kent Stater for at least one semester
as part of a reporting class and many continue their involvement
with the Stater and the Digital Stater. They
also may submit stories to The Burr magazine. After
completing required internships, graduates usually get jobs
as reporters or editors on daily newspapers.
