REGISTRATION FOR SUMMER 2004 & FALL 2004 JMC will no longer have controlled registration for most of its classes. You must be a major, minor, or pre-major to be able to register for JMC classes. INLA and ARTE that are required to take the class for their major or minor may register also. No JMC controlled class may be taken as an elective by anyone. Registration for JMC classes (except for those listed below) will be on Web for Students or on the phone just like other KSU classes. To register for these classes, students must fill out the on-line controlled registration form. JMC 20004 - Media Writing JMC 22000 - Photography Basics JMC 22001 - Photography (Black &White) JMC 22002 - Videography Basics JMC 40010 - Ethics & Issues JMC 48091 - PR Campaigns - Fall only *VCD 27001 - Visual Design for Media/Basic -                        (1 credit) (Broadcast Majors) *VCD 37000 - Visual Design for Media/Adv                             (3 credits)(All other Majors)  * For Summer VCD classes see Diane in VCD room 213 Art. Fall VCD will remain on the registration form. It is important to check your kent.edu email regularly as it is the only email we will use for registration notices.  Please begin checking your schedule on web for students two weeks after registration is over. If you do not get into the class, you are placed on our wait list so continue checking your schedule two weeks into the semester to see if you were placed into the classes you requested from the wait list. If you are placed into a class after the billing goes out it will be your responsibility to contact the registrar for payment information.   Submitting the form does not put a student into the class. It puts them into a database from which students are chosen by total hours completed. Students will not be informed when they are put into a class.
