Kent Photographers Association is...
A photographers group begun in June, 2001, by students and alumni from the photojournalism program at Kent State University. KPA brings together current students, alumni, faculty and professionals working in the field of photojournalism. The group serves many functions, including networking (especially students with working professionals), talking about current news events or trends in the industry, exchanging picture ideas and critiques, displaying each photographer's best work from month to month, and discussing the principles and ethics involved in this profession. Altogether KPA is a group learning tool where each participant learns from the other. KPA is a forum for sharing ideas, work, opinions and information.

KPA is open to any current Kent Student who meets the criteria for joining.

1. You must be a current student.
2 . Have one semester as a photographer under your belt at the Burr, Uhuru, the Daily Kent Stater or be enrolled in Photojournalism 1.
3 . Request KPA membership.

KPA is also open to any KSU graduate or faculty of the photojournalism school who wishes to join.
