Benefits: Younger members
benefit by being introduced to Kent State’s journalism program
in a low-key environment, and all members can network, making contacts
for the future. SPJ can help members get internships or jobs with
campus publications, such as the Daily Kent Stater or the Burr.
Members also have the chance to attend journalism conferences both
regionally and nationally.
Information compiled by Rachel Abbey and Joanne
Bello.
