Auditions for the Fall Semester version of NewsOhio, Kent JMC's scholastic public affairs series, will be held April 9.

Students do not have to be JMC majors to participate. The auditions will be from 10 a.m.-noon in the Hirsch Laboratory on the third floor of MSP.

Students will be asked to do a cold reading of a news story, rewrite news copy, and do a short interview. Applicants should dress professionally.

Students who are selected must be available in the fall for taping every Monday after 3 p.m. and for story meetings every Friday after 2 p.m.
