What's it like being part of CCI Commons? Undergraduate students in one of Prof. Karl Idsvoog's Video Field Production classes teamed up to produce these short videos on the program. They run from 1-3 minutes and play in Windows Media Player. CCI Commons, short for the College of Communication and Information Commons, resides in Verder Hall. Journalism and Mass Communication, Communication Studies, Visual Communication Design, Library and Information Science and Architecture and Knowledge Management majors are all eligible to join.

The Centennial Leadership Academy trains emerging leaders who have demonstrated their dedication throughout high school through intense workshops and community service activities
Physical Education and Professional Community (PEPC)
For those who may want to turn wellness into a career, the Physical Education and Professional Community (PEPC) in Centennial F provides social events and an on-site technology lab to underclassmen interested in physical education, athletic training and exercise science.
Education Learning Community (ELC)
Living and learning in Centennial F incorporates the Education Learning Community (ELC) for first-year students admitted into a teaching licensure program.

First-year students interested in the natural sciences can begin developing relationships with peers and faculty by residing in McSweeney Hall, which is home to the Science Learning Community (SLC).

Single parents who want to live on campus in an apartment-like atmosphere can participate in Literacy and Independence for Family Education (LIFE). This community, which is developing a parent resource organization, resides in the Allerton Apartments.

Johnson Hall is the brand-new home to the Honors College, which provides a variety of programming to students of all levels who are also accepted members of the university’s Honors academic program.

Students who want to get the most out of their first year reside in Lake Hall, home to EXCEL, which focuses on how to become a successful student while exploring several majors.

Underclass students interested in international affairs, travel and foreign languages share the Global Passport Community in Manchester Hall with international students.

Future businessmen and women can begin preparing for their careers by living in Allyn Hall, home to the College of Business Colleagues (CBC).

First-year students interested in healthy living join Pathways, KSU’s oldest living and learning community, which is housed in Fletcher Hall.
